Original and excellent condition. Late, WW II P.38 pistol manufactured by Spreewerk in the final months of the war. This piece falls into the highly desirable "z" serial number suffix block, representing the final standard-sequence production run in 1945. It is 100% all-matching numbers and retains 95%+ original late-war military finish. The bore rates a strong 8 out of 10. The rifling remains sharp and distinct with bright lands and minimal frosting. It features the correct, original bakelite grips, displaying the Spreewerk-exclusive five broken lines at the grip screw. This assembly includes two original, period-correct jvd and waffen stamped magazines. The 1944-dated softshell holster is in excellent and clean condition showing the date and maker stamp on the rear. This piece is fully functional including the de-cocker.
