4/16/26 - 20-round box of .30-06 Springfield M1 Ball ammunition, manufactured by the Frankford Arsenal in the mid 1930's. The 1952 on the label is a lot number, not the date. This specific box is a notable piece of military history, as it represents ammunition produced prior to WWII. This box is un-opened, however the top edges have small openings presumably done by previous owners to view the condition of the ammo.
